Research Projects Awarded
The following research projects in Florida’s State University System were funded by the Multi-University Reading, Mathematics and Science Initiative in Year 1 (FY ’03), Year 2 (FY ’04) and Year 3 (FY ’05). To date, a total of $2,111,263 has been awarded to seven state universities based on a competitive request-for-proposal (RFP) process. In FY ’03, only faculty research projects were funded; beginning in FY ’04, graduate student research projects were added at the recommendation of the MURMSI work group.
